False Prophet

Deuteronomy 13:1–4 (ESV-CE): “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him

Wisdom of Solomon 11:23–12:2 (ESV-CE): 

But you are merciful to all, for you can do all things, 

and you overlook people’s sins, that they may repent. 

 24  For you love all things that exist 

and loathe none of the things that you have made, 

for you would not have made anything if you had hated it. 

 25  How would anything have endured if you had not willed it? 

Or how would anything not called forth by you have been preserved? 

 26  You spare all things, for they are yours, O Lord who loves the living. 

12 For your immortal spirit is in all things. 

 2  Therefore you correct little by little those who trespass 

and remind and warn them of the things by which they sin 

that they may be freed from wickedness and put their trust in you, O Lord. 

God Loves

God loves you. 

God wants your soul back from the devil. 

God wants to deliver you from sins tyranny. 

God will show you how to love him and others. 

God doesn’t want you to lose your soul to the enemy. 

He made it to dwell in himself, but it needs to be cleaned before he feels comfortable there. 

God can clean your soul. 

God died to shed his blood to clean your soul. 

God will only come if you want him to. 

God never forces himself he requires a response. 

Respond with a YES. 

I must Choose to not give up my PEACE

If I do not have peace it is because I am listening to evil. 

If I am disturbed it is because I am not hiding in him and not believing. CHOOSE to believe!

I MUST cooperate with Grace! He will not force me to believe the Good news. God wants me to be in Him and believe. 

Test the spirits

The fruit is how you know … He gives the Spirit to those who obey. 

Holy: righteousness peace and joy

Evil: compromise anxiety and fear

Fear Anger Resentment is selfishness

Fear, anger, and resentment are your will operating in three different time zones. 

Fear is the feeling that you will not get your way in the future. 

Anger is the feeling that you are not getting your way now. 

Resentment is the feeling that you did not get your way in the past. 

These feelings are therefore based on selfishness (the need to get your wants fulfilled). 

Live in His Presence

If we remember that God is looking at us all the time we would never, or scarcely ever do what is displeasing in his eyes. 

If, for reverence to his Sovereign Lord can conquer our nature, how much more will the thought of the divine presence make a faithful soul overcome every temptation, and suffer every pain rather than insult the Lord before his face. 

Every evil happens to us, because we do not reflect that God is present with us, but imagine that he is at a distance.

If we keep ourselves always in the presence of God, that thought that, he sees all our thoughts, that he hears all our words, and observes all of our actions, will preserve us from thinking any evil, from speaking any evil, and doing any evil. 

If I Reflect that God is looking at all my actions, I would do all things well,  with pure intentions,  without seeking to please anyone but God, and without any regard to human respect.

God has created you for no other end that you might love him. 

The life of Bliss consists in seeing and loving God. Here on earth, it is with the eyes of faith, and always behold him as present with him.

I will not take my mercy from you

2 Samuel 7:14-15

I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. 

If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. 

But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
