Belief in God's love can be challenging for many individuals due to various factors, including personal experiences, societal influences, and theological understandings.

1. **Human Suffering and Evil**: The existence of suffering and evil in the world often leads individuals to question God's love. Pope John Paul II emphasized that human suffering is a profound mystery, yet it can be understood through the lens of faith. He noted that believers who suffer in union with Christ can find meaning in their pain, as Jesus' Death and Resurrection reveal the ultimate purpose of suffering and the promise of salvation[^10]. This perspective suggests that while suffering may challenge the perception of God's love, it can also deepen one's understanding of it.

2. **Personal Sin and Guilt**: Individuals may struggle to accept God's love due to feelings of unworthiness stemming from personal sin. The Church teaches that God's love is unconditional and extends even to those who feel distanced from Him due to their actions. Pope Francis, in his declaration on blessings, highlights that even when one's relationship with God is clouded by sin, the desire for a blessing and reaching out to God can be a significant step towards experiencing His love[^1].

3. **Cultural and Societal Influences**: The modern world often promotes a view of God that is distant or punitive, which can obscure the understanding of God as a loving Father. Pope Benedict XVI articulated that God is not a distant entity but a loving presence who desires a relationship with humanity. He emphasized that God's love is revealed through creation and ultimately through Christ, who embodies this love[^6].

4. **The Challenge of Faith**: The call to believe in God's love often requires a transformation of heart and mind. Pope John Paul II noted that accepting the truth of God's love involves a change of heart and faith in the unseen[^8]. This process can be difficult, especially in a world that often prioritizes empirical evidence over spiritual truths.

5. **The Role of Community and Witness**: The Church teaches that the credibility of God's love is often communicated through the actions and testimonies of believers. Pope Benedict XVI stated that the demonstration of faith and the testimony of love are inseparable, suggesting that the lived experience of love among Christians can help others recognize God's love[^9]. When this witness is lacking, it can lead to skepticism about God's love.

In summary, the difficulty in believing in God's love can stem from the complexities of human experience, personal feelings of unworthiness, cultural perceptions, the challenge of faith, and the need for authentic community witness. Each of these factors plays a role in shaping an individual's understanding and acceptance of divine love.

He has chosen to have all things into being

Everyone is specifically here because he chose them to be in being

I am (as with all humans) specifically here because God wanted me here at this time in this place.

John 1:3

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

He is the light and life of all man And we did not understand that or him.

John 1:4-5

In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.

I too am a witness of this light and life that has come for man so we can believe and be saved

John 1:7

He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.

If we accept this truth and receive Him and Believe in his name as Holy God

We are given the right to be born again of God

John 1:12-13

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

Because of his fullness of being God

We receive grace upon grace as we accept and receive and believe the grace and truth that comes through him!

John 1:16-17

For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

I am now a witness and must also call out that I am a voice calling out in the wilderness to make the way of the Lord straight!

John 1:23

He said, “I am THE VOICE OF ONE CALLING OUT IN THE WILDERNESS, ‘MAKE THE WAY OF THE LORD STRAIGHT,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”

Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the World!

John 1:29

The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him, and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

When He comes to you he says: Follow Me

John 1:43

The next day He decided to go to Galilee, and He *found Philip. And Jesus *said to him, “Follow Me.”

Jesus Gives us free everything we need in seed form

Once upon a time there was a man who had a dream. In his dream he was walking down the streets of the big city. He saw people living in

poverty asking him for pocket change, sick people being rushed to a hospital, pretty much everything that goes on in our society and nothing out of the ordinary. So he thought, until he saw a large store called “everything for free!” Curious to know what they had at the store, he walked through the large entrance door. To his surprise, he saw Jesus standing behind the counter.

Jesus said to him “Welcome to my store! In this store you will find everything you will need in your life. And the best part, everything is for free. You can look around and make a list of the things you want, and once you’re finished you can hand me your list and I will give them to you.” The man looked around the store, and true enough, everything he’s ever wanted was at this store, especially all the things that can solve the problems of the world: food that will put an end to hunger and poverty, medicine to heal all diseases, peace for the world, love and harmony in the family, and many more. He hurried back to the counter with his list. Jesus looked at it, and started to pull out small packets from the large drawers and placed them carefully in a brown paper bag and handed it to him. Completely puzzled by what happened he asked, “Jesus, what are these that you gave me?” Jesus explained, “I gave you everything you’ve asked for. I do not offer finished products here. I provide the seeds of everything, and you have to plant those seeds

and make sure to nurture them so they grow and bear fruits.”

Of course, God is perfect and He does not need us or depend on our work to accomplish His plan. But God chooses to accomplish great

things through you and me, imperfect human beings. God does this to bestow on us a sense of dignity and enable us to merit the reward of our labour one day in God’s Kingdom in heaven. And God does this by entrusting to each and every one of us a part to play, for us to make our unique contributions to building the Kingdom of God.

The New Covenant

Life in the Spirit

Freedom from Bondage of the Soul.

To Hear, Listen, Obey, Empowered to do right, is Eternal Life.

We suffer abundantly

We are also abundantly comforted

For and through Christ

All for His Glory

2 Corinthians 1:5

For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

Confidence in how we conduct ourselves

In holiness and Godly sincerity

Not in worldly wisdom

But in Gods Grace

Toward the world and the church

2 Corinthians 1:12

For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

The Father makes us adequate

To serve the New Covenant

The New covenant is life in the Spirit

Not following rules which kills us

Listening, obeying, being empowered by the Spirit is life.

2 Corinthians 3:6

who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

The ministry of condemnation (trying to follow rules) had great glory

The ministry of righteousness (life in the Spirit) excels the glory of condemnation.

2 Corinthians 3:9

For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness excel in glory.

The Lord is Spirit

There is freedom in the Spirit

Freedom to hear, obey, and be empowered to do right!

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Look at God’s reality

Don’t worry about temporal things

Temporal things are perishing

Focus on eternity and see what is coming

Eternal focus gives strength for the battle

2 Corinthians 4:18

while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The New Covenant

Life in the Spirit

Freedom from Bondage of the Soul.

To Hear, Listen, Obey, Empowered to do right, is Eternal Life.

God is in me all round me

I am safe

He will help me every morning

Psalms 46:5

God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved;

God will help her when morning dawns.

Stop striving on your own

I am your God

I will be exalted

I will show my glory through you

Psalms 46:10

“Stop striving and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.”

The LORD is to be feared

Nothing else!

The LORD is KING

Over All the Earth

Psalms 47:2

For the LORD Most High is to be feared,

A great King over all the earth.

God is KING of All the earth

Sing praises

Sing His wisdom

Psalms 47:7

For God is the King of all the earth;

Sing praises with a psalm of wisdom.

God Reigns

God is on His Holy Throne

Psalms 47:8

God reigns over the nations,

God sits on His holy throne.

Here:

The is a perishable body, sown in dishonor, sown in weakness, a natural body.

Will be:

Imperishable, raised in glory, raised in power, a spiritual body.

Don’t give up!! Take the pain!!

1 Corinthians 15:42-44

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

Be Alert always

Stand Firm in Faith

Man Up!

Be Strong in the Lord

Do everything in love.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. All that you do must be done in love.

Anyone who doesn’t love the Lord be Cursed

Come Lord Jesus!

Grace of Jesus be with You

1 Corinthians 16:22-23

If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

READ 3  There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall worship him;...
