READ

22 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. 25  And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any one; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11:22–25, RSV2CE)

REFLECT

Jesus tells me to have faith in God. It’s a command.

Jesus tells me that if I have faith in God, command something, and do not doubt, but believing that it will be accomplished, it will be done.

Will come to pass means in God’s timing? Not necessarily immediately…

Jesus tells me that whatever I ask in prayer, I am to believe I will receive it, then I will.

Jesus tells me that I must forgive everyone and everything so I can be forgiven.

(I must be right with God so I can see if my prayer is righteous? So my asking cannot be for vengeance. My asking must be for the good of all involved.)

RESOLUTION

I have faith in God that He can do all things. When I pray I must have no unforgiveness in my heart so I can pray rightly and God can answer affirmatively. His answer is in His timing.

REST

I believe you hear me. I believe you guide me. Prayer is a dialogue, so you are even gracing me with what you want me to ask for. I will believe you hear and want to answer. Thank you for being willing to show me your glory and answer my prayer.

In the name of Jesus and by the power in faith in my God I believe you hear and answer me. I ask that my sister be delivered from evil influence and that you put her in a safe place to be able to live freely, especially for you! Amen.

Jesus, I wish to comfort You;

I unite myself to You; I offer myself in union with You. I count myself as nothing before You;

I desire to forget myself in order to think of You, to be forgotten and despised for love of You, not to be understood, not to be loved, except by You.

I will hold my peace that I may listen to You; I will forsake myself that I may lose myself in You.

Grant that I may quench Your thirst for my salvation, Your burning thirst for my sanctification, and that, being purified, I may bestow on You a pure and true love.

Take me, I give myself to You.

I entrust to You all my actions:

my mind that You may enlighten it,

my heart that You may direct it,

my will that You may establish it,

my misery that You may relieve it,

my soul and my body that You may feed it.

Jesus, Whose Blood is the life of my soul, may it be no longer I who live, but You alone Who lives in me.

Amen.

11 In him, according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 we who first hoped in Christ have been destined and appointed to live for the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:11–14, RSV2CE

God’s Will, who accomplishes His purposes, gave me hope in Christ. I am destined and appointed to live to praise the glory of God. I am in Jesus. I have heard the Word of Truth. I believe the Gospel of Salvation. I believe in Jesus. I am Sealed with the Holy Spirit who is God’s promise (God does not Lie!!) The Spirit is my guarantee that I will inherit (heaven and beatitude) until I acquire possession of it. Praise and Glory to God!!

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,

To the saints who are also faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. 5 He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ••, according to the purpose of his will, 6  to the praise of his glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace 8 which he lavished upon us. 9 For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ 10  as a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth••.

15  For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love •toward all the saints, 16  I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18  having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20  which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21  far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; 22  and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the Church, 23  which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:1–2:1, RSV2CE

REFLECTION

Since I am trying to be faithful, staying in the Lord, I am gifted with grace and peace from the Father and Jesus.

Bless (praise and exalt) God because He has blessed me with all spiritual blessings from heaven in Jesus.

(What are the spiritual blessings: Made one with Christ, Grace, peace, redemption, sonship, unity, forgiveness, wisdom, insight into God’s will, Sealed with the Holy Spirit, Holy, and Blameless-all for love-because of His Sacrifice)

I was chosen to be in Christ. It was ordained before the foundation of the world that I should be in Christ, Holy and Blameless before the Father. In Love I was destined to be his adopted into the body of Christ.

The will of the Father and his purpose was for me to be given glorious grace to make me one with Jesus, in the Beloved.

Being in Jesus, I have redemption, the forgiveness of my sin, grace, wisdom, and insight into His will, by Jesus’ sacrifice of his own flesh and blood.

The mystery of God’s will and purpose was for all things to be united into Christ from heaven and earth.

God who accomplishes His purpose and will, if I hope in Christ, I am destined and appointed to live for the praise of His glory.

I am in Jesus, I hear the word of truth, the Gospel of salvation. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit, the guarantee of my inheritance until I actually possess it. Praise God for His Glory!

I have Faith in Jesus and love his saints (fellow members of His own body) Paul prays that I get from the Father of My Lord Jesus, a spirit of wisdom and a revelation of knowledge of Him. He prays my heart be enlightened and know intimately the hope that I am called to and the glorious riches and inheritance, the immeasurable (resurrection) power, in my own self because I believe.

Jesus has been raised by this immeasurable power. He sits in heaven. Jesus is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name (nothing can happen apart from him) The Father has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the Church.  The church is his body.

RESOLUTION

I hear, believe, and hope in these promises. I will praise and exalt God because I am blessed. I will live for His Glory and praise! I will love all his body (the saints) and choose faith. I wait for more revelation and knowledge of God as I walk out this salvation. I pray for enlightened heart to know intimately this hope I am called to. I trust Jesus, He has been given everything, and I am in Him.

REST

Thank you God for your amazing plan and offer. I know without your grace I could not see. Thank you for calling me and opening my eyes to be able to choose you back. I trust in You and Your plan. Thank you for your blessings. Thank you for the sealing of the Holy Spirit-my guarantee! Thank you for the heavenly gifts to get me home. Praise You My King!! Help me be faithful! Amen.

Causes of God’s punishment:

Don’t consider the previous works of God

Do not remember the abundance of God’s mercy.

Do not wait for God’s counsel

Crave things

Test God

Jealousy of God’s appointed leaders

Worship of false gods

Forget their Savior

Despised the provisions of God

No faith in His promises

Murmuring (dissatisfied with what He gives)

Do not obey God

Attach themselves to false god

Provoke the Lord to anger by your works

Do not obey God

Copy the world instead of his commandments

Serve idols

Sacrifice their kids demons

Sacrifice the innocent

Become unclean by works

Play a harlot

Rebellious

Brought low by their own iniquity

He punishes those He loves, so take it and Reform!!

~~~~~~
Do not be surprised by punishment:
For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”  (Hebrews 12:6, RSV2CE)
Reasons for Punishment:
Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wonderful works;
they did not remember •the abundance of your mercy,
but rebelled against the Most High at the Red Sea.  (Psalm 106:7, RSV2CE)
13 But they soon forgot his works;
they did not wait for his counsel.
14 But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness,
and put God to the test in the desert;  (Psalm 106:13–14, RSV2CE)
16 When men in the camp were jealous of Moses
and •Aaron, the holy one of the Lord,
17 the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
and covered •the company of Abiram.
18 Fire also broke out in their company;
the flame burned up the wicked.  (Psalm 106:16–18, RSV2CE)
19 They made a calf in Horeb
and worshiped •a molten image.
20 •They exchanged •the •glory of God
for the image of an ox that eats grass.
21 They forgot God, their Savior,
who had done great things in Egypt,
22 wondrous works in the land of Ham,
and awesome things by the Red Sea.  (Psalm 106:19–22, RSV2CE)
24 Then they despised •the pleasant land,
having no faith in his promise.
25 •They murmured in their tents,
and did not obey •the voice of the Lord.  (Psalm 106:24–25, RSV2CE)
28 Then they attached themselves to the Baal of Peor,
and ate sacrifices offered to the dead;
29 •they provoked the Lord to anger with their doings,
and a plague broke out among them.  (Psalm 106:28–29, RSV2CE)
34 They did not destroy •the peoples,
as the Lord commanded •them,
35 but they mingled with the nations
and learned to do as they did.
36 •They served •their idols,
which became a snare to them.
37 •They sacrificed •their sons
and •their daughters to the demons;
38 •they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and •daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
and the land was polluted with •blood.
39 Thus they became unclean by their acts,
and played the harlot in their doings.  (Psalm 106:34–39, RSV2CE)
Many times he delivered them,
but they were rebellious in their purposes,
and were brought low through their iniquity.  (Psalm 106:43, RSV2CE)
