The Ladder to God

The Presence of God

We are offered Himself

Little by little grace upon grace

Climbing a ladder upwards.

He offers to you to know he exists

He offers to you to know you can talk to him

He offers to you To know he cares

He offers to you To know he loves you

He offers to you To know he wants to help you

He offers to you To know he has a plan for you

He offers to you To know he is your happiness

He offers to you to know he fulfills all desires

You can choose each grace

Or can can go back down the ladder and forget

We do this here on earth…up and down.

Wherever we are when we die our state is fixed.

The reason it can be hell is because you can no longer move up, you are fixed. And if you wanted to move you cannot. So your happiness is exactly what you last chose as your relationship with God.

Everyone will be resurrected into his presence. How you experience him is what will make it heaven or hell for you. If you know all the graces and received them with joy this will be heaven. If you rejected the graces the sadness and frustration of not being able to gain anymore will be hell. (Gnashing of teeth)

The choice is yours and it is NOW

That is why it is imperative you continually cooperate with Grace and stay close to God. You don’t want to fall down the ladder and be stuck when you die. Especially tasting already what you lost and can no longer have. Choose Perfect Love.

Don’t Reject the Message

The Rejected Message
John 12:37-50
But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:…

A message of —

I. LOVE FROM THE FATHER (ver. 49).

1. The substance of the message — a revelation of the Father (ver. 45).

(1)  Of His name, Father.

(2)  Of His character, love.

(3)  Of His gift, the Son.

(4)  Of His purpose, salvation (ver. 47).

2. The medium of its transmission — through Christ, God's

(1)  Son (ver. 50);

(2)  Representative (ver. 44);

(3)  Commissioner (vers. 44, 49).

3. The heinousness of its rejection — to reject Christ and His message the same thing as to reject the Father and His message (ver. 44).

II. SALVATION FOR THE WORLD (vers. 46, 47).

1. Of Salvation from the darkness of

(1)  Intellectual error.

(2)  Moral unholiness.

(3)  Legal condemnation.

(4)  Eternal death.

2. Of salvation through faith — through hearing, believing, keeping Christ's words.

3. Of salvation forever — through escaping the final judgment and entering at the last day upon eternal life.

III. JUDGMENT FOR THE UNBELIEVING (ver. 48).

1. Its time — the last day.

2. Its author — the Word of Christ.

3. Its ground — unbelief and disobedience.

IV. ETERNAL LIFE FOR THE FAITHFUL (ver. 50).

1. The object of the Father's commission.

2. The burden of the Son's commission.

3. The issue of the individual's faith. Lessons —

1. Thankfulness for the gospel message.

2. Watchfulness against the sin of unbelief.

3. Prayerfulness that the news of salvation may be propagated through the earth.

4. Trustfulness that we may escape the judgment of the last day.

5. Earnestness to lay hold of eternal life.

Happiness book

Levels of happiness

1.  material: food and shelter

2.  succeeding: self-consciousness

3.  empathy: other focus

4. transcendent: beyond the here

This is a staircase. We started at level one moving up to level four.

Questions to determine happiness: (these are diagnostic, not right or wrong answers)

What is my purpose in life? To live in God

How do I think about other people? To be a light to them for God’s sake

How do I think of myself? To be nothing except what God wants me to be

What do I think freedom means ? To be able to do what God asks.

Plead for Perseverance

Scripture to plead for perseverance

GOD’S PLAN IS PERFECT

HE IS RIGHTEOUS

IT IS RIGHT AND JUST ALL HE DOES AND ALLOWS

State of journeying to perfection

Acts of Faith Hope Love

Daily Verse

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access [by faith] to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy Spirit that has been given to us."

— Romans 5:1-5

Jesus knew me before he created all things

He knew the plan he has for me

He knew the hairs of my head

He knew my choices

I am weak, I plead to be a child in his arms carried into eternity. The little way!

Because I am weak I plead the Mercy and Blood of God in the Name of Jesus Christ his Son.

Please be your will Father to save me. Please let me never be separated from you!!

Two thoughts on predestination:

  1. Jesus chose Judas-to fulfill scripture, but the Father did not draw Him or grant him to be saved?
  2. Or He did draw Him or grant him to be saved but when Judas rejected, did not overwhelm with more grace…

Jesus and God are two persons with same essence but God’s plans are over Jesus?

This why some are allowed to be lost?:

God loves some more than others, gives different or more grace…

He loves all but some more.

You love your family but God more…not that you don’t love some…but that you love God more.

To the Father:

John 5:30

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

John 6:32

Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

John 6:37

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

John 6:39-40

This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:44-45

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

John 6:65

And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

To Jesus:

John 5:21-22

For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son.

John 5:24

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

John 5:30

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

John 6:29

Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

John 6:35

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 6:70

Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
