All Christians are a tiny individual part of Christ’s body.

Together we make up His whole body.

Each person was baptized into the One Body. We drink of One Spirit.

I Corinthians 12:12-13, 27

For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.

Faith in God

Hope in God for resurrection life

Love of God for us and others

If the greatest thing in the world is Love of God for us and others-That is what we should be praying for all people.

True love is wanting Gods love on people and them to love Him-their greatest goal to lead to the resurrection life.

True love is not personal worldly feelings and preferences. (Has nothing to do with sexual lifestyle, monies, power, security, etc)

True Love IS BEING WITH GOD-the only source of true happiness!

If this is True Love, we should be praying for people to repent of their ideas of what lifestyle they want to live and ask God what His will for them is…it’s a narrow road! Few find it! Pray Repent Pray!!!

I Corinthians 13:13

But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

God please revive me!

Please give me joy, let me rejoice in you.

Please show me your mercy Lord!

Grant me your salvation God, please.

Psalm 85:6-7

Will You not revive us again,

So that Your people may rejoice in You?

Show us Your mercy, LORD,

And grant us Your salvation.

Let me hear what you say Lord.

Please speak to me, I want to be yours.

Help me not turn back to foolish things.

I fear you, please grant me salvation.

Help me Glorify you here on the earth.

Psalm 85:8-9

I will hear what God the LORD will say;

For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones;

And may they not turn back to foolishness.

Certainly His salvation is near to those who fear Him,

That glory may dwell in our land.

Hear me God.

Please answer me.

My soul is afflicted and need your protection.

I am trying to follow your ways.

You are my God, I am your servant.

I trust in You!

Please be gracious to me.

I call on you all day.

Please make my soul joyful.

Help me keep lifting my soul to you.

You are Good and ready to forgive and give abundant mercy to all who call on you.

Please hear this prayer my Lord. Please hear my pleading.

Psalm 86:1-6

Incline Your ear, LORD, and answer me;

For I am afflicted and needy.

Protect my soul, for I am godly;

You my God, save Your servant who trusts in You.

Be gracious to me, Lord,

For I call upon You all day long.

Make the soul of Your servant joyful,

For to You, Lord, I lift up my soul.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,

And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

Listen, LORD, to my prayer;

And give Your attention to the sound of my pleading!

Teach me the way you want me to walk.

Teach me to walk in your truth my God.

Help me keep the fear of your name in my heart.

I give Thanks for you with all my heart Lord!

Help me glorify your name forever!

You are so gracious to me.

Thank you for saving my soul from hell.

Psalm 86:11-13

Teach me Your way, LORD;

I will walk in Your truth;

Unite my heart to fear Your name.

I will give thanks to You, Lord my God, with all my heart,

And I will glorify Your name forever.

For Your graciousness toward me is great,

And You have saved my soul from the depths of Sheol.

The Only God

The Only Savior

Jesus Christ is Lord

Glory

Majesty

Dominion

Authority

Before-Now-Forever (Eternal)

Jude 1:25

to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Faith pleased God

Come to God

Believe He exists

Believe He rewards those that seek Him

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.

Why is it so tempting to “love pleasure rather than God”? Pleasure is something we can control; God cannot be controlled. Most pleasures can be obtained easily; love for God requires effort and sometimes sacrifice. Pleasure benefits us now; the benefits of loving God are often in the future. Pleasure has a narcotic effect; it takes our minds off ourselves and our problems. Love for God reminds us of our needs and our responsiblities. Pleasure cooperates with pride. It makes us feel good when we look good in the eyes of others.

Challenge

To love God we must lay aside our pride and our accomplishments. Have you chosen to love pleasure, or to love God? How do you know?

“My kingship is not from the world”. Christ’s kingly power is not in the domain of a temporal or political power, but of a spiritual lordship, which consists in announcing the truth, in leading men to the supreme Truth, by setting them free of every shadow of error and sin. “For this have I come into the world”—says Jesus—“to bear witness to the truth”

The cross, in reality, is Christ’s royal throne; from the cross he extends his arms to draw all men to himself, and from the cross he rules them by his love. For him to reign over us, we must allow ourselves to be drawn to him and to be conquered by such love.

“He did not come to dominate peoples and territories, but to free men from the slavery of sin and be reconciled with God.” Pope Benedict XVI

Galatians 5:6  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

John 15:14  "You are My friends if you do what I command you.

Luke 11:28  But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."

Matthew 7:21  "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

John 4:34  Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

1 John 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;

1 John 2:5  but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him

God is hiding.  But why?  He hides under the veil of secrecy and silence so that we will diligently seek Him.  He does not choose to compete with the distractions of the world since He wants you to choose Him as your one desire.  Desire to seek Him, hidden in your heart, hidden in the holy Sacraments, hidden in the silence and hidden in the people whom you encounter throughout your day.  The Lord is there, waiting for you to discover His Heart filled with unfathomable Mercy.  Seek Him with all your might (See Diary #1591).

Ponder the hidden presence of God today.  Be aware of the fact that the presence of God is all around you, constantly calling to you and inviting you into His Heart.  If you allow yourself to become disinterested or distracted by the world, you will never discover how close He is.  Reflect upon His hidden presence and do not hesitate to seek Him today.

Lord, I love You but at times I fail to live that love fully.  I become so very distracted by things that mean little in the end.  Help me to regain my focus and to seek You with all my Heart.  Jesus, I trust in You.

When you call God will answer

God tests our hearts

He admonishes us to listen and obey

You should not have any idols - GOD FIRST

God is the deliverer

He is your provider

His people are not listening and obeying

His people are being given over to their own stubborn hearts

They are walking by their own plans

They will not be successful

If His people would turn back (start to listen and obey)

God would subdue their enemies (killing their own souls)

Psalm 81:7-14

You called in trouble and I rescued you;

I answered you in the hiding place of thunder;

I put you to the test at the waters of Meribah. Selah

Hear, My people, and I will admonish you;

Israel, if you would listen to Me!

There shall be no strange god among you;

Nor shall you worship a foreign god.

I, the LORD, am your God,

Who brought you up from the land of Egypt;

Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

“But My people did not listen to My voice,

And Israel did not obey Me.

So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart,

To walk by their own plans.

Oh that My people would listen to Me,

That Israel would walk in My ways!

I would quickly subdue their enemies

And turn My hand against their adversaries.

Whatever you ask in the Name if Jesus

It will be done (if it conforms to His will)

When done in Jesus’ name it glorifies the Father

If you love Jesus you will keep the commandments.

Jesus, in your name, to glorify you and God the Father, help me all my days to listen and obey all you command me. Amen

John 14:13-15

And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Jesus is in the Father,

I am in Jesus

Jesus is in Me

I hold on to His word and obey it because I love Jesus

Because I love Jesus the Father loves me.

And because I love Jesus and obey him He will reveal himself to me.

If anyone loves Jesus He will listen and obey Him, the Father will love Him also, and both Jesus and the Father will live with that person.

It is a choice: do you love Jesus? You must choose to obey His commandments, they are to be done in the Holy Spirit (we aren’t powerful enough on our own-PRAY) If you are constantly praying to obey because you love Him, he will make himself known and both the Father and the Son will live with you.

John 14:20-21, 23

On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you. The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.

Jesus gives us Peace

His own Peace is given to us

The command: DO NOT LET your heart be troubled or fearful.

He is taking care of you-let Him handle it.

You obey him in the power of the Holy Spirit in Peace!

John 14:27

Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.

The proof of love:OBEDIENCE

The world knows Jesus loves the Father because of His Exact Obedience.

John 14:31a

but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me.
