I’m sure we have all seen a soul who lets a little bit of power go to her/his head and change them from a normal individual into a tyrant.
Actual power (or what might be even worse, being a control-freak without any actual power) can be a parasite that feeds on the host, draining her/him of the ability to have a productive relationship with others... possibly all others!
If Jesus Christ(our model) considered Himself a Servant, we certainly should be
able to handle a little bit of power when we are blessed (or cursed!) with it. And I'm sure most of us do our best!
It becomes our imperative to exercise Humility in every single facet of our daily existence. As Pride is at the festering root of most sins and faults, Humility is the ointment that cures the putrefaction caused by Pride.
