God made our soul
He knows best for our soul
He wants to take care of us
When we sin
We are saying we don’t believe he will take care of us and do something against his will.
Lie
Steal
Fornication
Murder
These we do because of fear and idolatry: (self centered)
Lie to not be exposed
Steal to take instead of wait for God to provide
Fornicate because we will not do what is best for our soul, we want gratification outside of commitment
Murder we want to tear down others to make us feel higher
Sin is us trying to take care of ourselves and not letting God have his place in our lives. This is cosmic treason. We are offending the love who made us to be loved and love Him back.
The Cure:
Realize God made you to be loved by Him and to love Him in return. Realize you don’t want to offend this great lover of your soul. Trust His ways are better and that he will provide. Even if His ways are hard, He gives the grace to persevere. Let yourself be loved
