But she will be saved through the bearing of children, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with self-restraint. (1 Timothy 2:15, LSB)

I will be saved if I continue in faith (believing God’s promise to get me home), love (of God and neighbor), sanctification (letting grace have its way in me by surrendering and cooperation), and self restraint (willing my flesh to be under the control of the Spirit).

but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:15, LSB)

The household of the living God is the Church. The Church is the pillar and support of truth!

7 But refuse godless myths fit only for old women. On the other hand, train yourself for the purpose of godliness,

8 for bodily training is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. (1 Timothy 4:7–8, LSB)

Train in godliness, this is profitable for this life and eternal life.

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but show yourself as a model to those who believe in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity. (1 Timothy 4:12, LSB)

Be a model to believers. Be a model in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

~~~
1 Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather plead with him as a father, to the younger men as brothers,
2 the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity. (1 Timothy 5:1–2, LSB)
Instead of sharply rebuking anyone, plead with people! To men as a father, to women as a mother, to young men and women as brothers and sisters.
20 Those who continue in sin, reprove in the presence of all, so that the rest also will be fearful.
21 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His elect angels, to observe these instructions without bias, doing nothing in partiality. (1 Timothy 5:20–21, LSB)
Reprove people that continue in sin without repentance in the presence of the church so others will fear.
In the presence of God the father, Jesus the Christ, the Elect Angels observe what is taught without partiality. God punishes to heal, so don’t be partial and let people off. Pain is medicinal for bringing to repentance.
~~~

6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain, when accompanied by contentment.

7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.

8 And if we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. (1 Timothy 6:6–8, LSB)

Godliness and contentment is gain. We brought nothing we will take nothing. Be content in food to sustain and clothes to cover. Everything is gift!

11 But you, O man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, gentleness.

12 Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:11–12, LSB)

Flee sin with all your heart!

Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

Fight the fight of faith. You are called to eternal life.

You accepted the call and have professed it publicly.

14 And if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take special note of that person to not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame.

15 And yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother (2 Thessalonians 3:14–15, LSB)

If a Christian is not obeying God take note of them and stop associating with them so they feel shame for their refusal to follow their Lord. Do not think of him as an enemy but admonish as a brother do they may repent and be saved and not keep going down the wrong road.

This is exactly what I was doing at work. Both Mimi and Sandy, professing Christians, were refusing to do their job so I was admonishing them so they can turn back. So now I must separate myself from their fellowship because they refuse to do right.

I was not wrong in my motive but my behavior was harsh not loving. That was wrong of me. But I was right to admonish, then stop and let them go. I told them and now they have the right to do as they please. If they want to continue going down the wrong path, that is their prerogative. I can only pray for them to see light.

I am to not let anything get between me and God, no anger or resentment. I did my duty and now I must cling to my God.

Father forgive my tone with them I was very wrong. But truly my motive was to wake them from their rebellious spirit. Help me separate myself and cling to you and follow you. You are my salvation! Amen.

13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you as the first fruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

14 It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,

17 encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word. (2 Thessalonians 2:13–17, LSB)

I am beloved by God. I have been chosen to be sanctified by the Holy Spirit, faith, and in truth. I was called by the gospel to obtain the glory of Jesus in me. I must stand firm hold to the traditions taught in the church. Jesus Christ and God my Father who loves me has chosen to give me eternal comfort (I will be with Him forever) keep hope alive by remembering this and it will come by living by His grace. Keep your heart encouraged and strengthen it by your work and your words. Talk the truth to yourself and follow it up with obedience this will encourage and strengthen your heart in confidence! Help me my God! Amen.

8 And then that lawless one will be revealed—whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming—

9 whose coming is in accord with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

10 and with all the deception of unrighteousness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

11 And for this reason God sends upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,

12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:8–12, LSB)

The lawless one will be revealed. Jesus will slay him. He will come from Satan with false signs and wonders.

The unrighteous will perish because they reject and will not receive the love of the truth. Those who believe and receive truth will be saved.

For those who reject truth God is sending a delusion and it will make them believe what is false because they are rejecting. Those will be judged because they took pleasure in unrighteousness.

God, help me love truth. I see that I am still under a cloud sometimes not accepting my utter dependence and my pride makes me think I am more than I am. Help me fall in love with truth, see truth, speak truth, be truth in your power and gentleness. I need grace. Help me. Amen. I do not want to be lost, I want to be saved and live with you!

7 … at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,

8 executing vengeance on those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our witness to you was believed.

11 To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill all your good pleasure for goodness and the work of faith with power,

12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:7b–12, LSB)

At the Second Coming The Lord Jesus will come from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire!

He is coming to execute Vengeance on those who have rejected the knowledge of God and refused to obey the gospel. The penalty is eternal destruction separated from His presence and glory.

He is coming to be glorified in his people and to be marveled at for his amazing mercy and grace to the believers.

Pray to be worthy of the calling. He wants you to be glorified by grace, fulfilling the goodness he has given to you to do, in His Faith and Power.

May the Lord’s name be praised in me, and I in Him, according to the grace given me by my God and Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

it is by prayer that one arrives at the constant desire to make God’s interests one’s own, and it is by suffering accepted for his sake that one comes to share in the Passion of Christ, who is Love itself. Prayer broadens the scope of love; suffering in the spirit of sacrifice is love’s appropriate expression. The love of God can be verified only by the combined effect of deepening the life of prayer and the willingness to sacrifice. The saints know no other way and Christ taught no other way. “If any man wishes to be my disciple,” our Lord said, “let him take up his cross and follow me” (Mt. 16:24; ML 8:34; Lk. 9:23). It is prayer that enables us to see the necessity of doing this, and it is in prayer that we get the grace to act on it. Prayer and sacrifice go together, and together they express our love of God. Prayer without sacrifice can become a hobby; sacrifice without prayer can become a psychosis.

so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. (1 Thessalonians 2:12, LSB)

so that He may strengthen your hearts blameless in holiness, before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. (1 Thessalonians 3:13, LSB)

1 Finally then, brothers, we ask and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more.

2 For you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;

4 that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

5 not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;

6 and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you.

7 For God did not call us to impurity, but in sanctification.

8 Consequently, he who sets this aside is not setting aside man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

9 Now concerning love of the brothers, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,

10 for indeed you do practice it toward all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to excel still more,

11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you,

12 so that you will walk properly toward outsiders and not be in any need. (1 Thessalonians 4:1–12, LSB)

8 But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God has not appointed us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:8–10, LSB)

14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

16 Rejoice always;

17 pray without ceasing;

18 in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit;

20 do not despise prophecies,

21 but examine all things; hold fast to that which is good;

22 abstain from every form of evil.

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful is He who calls you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:14–24, LSB)

I am called to walk worthy of the Kingdom and Glory of God. God can strengthen my heart to obedience so I am blameless in holiness. I must pray for the grace. It is not in me, in humility I must ask for this.

The apostles told me how to walk. I received it and pray to excel even more to walk IN the Lord Jesus. There were commands given through Jesus. The will of God for me is Sanctification. I am to posses my body in sanctification and honor not in impurity. If I reject this I am rejecting God not Man. God gives the Holy Spirit to me to be able to do His commands. God teaches me to love one another.

My ambition in life is to live a quiet life, minding my own business and going to work, this will show outsiders the power of God and I will be able to take care of myself and not have need.

Be sober in mind put on Faith, Hope, and Love. I am appointed not to wrath but to Salvation through Jesus Christ my Lord living with Him now and forever. (I am in Him right now and will be with him forever)

Admonish the undisciplined, encourage the faint hearted, help the weak, be patient with all! Do not do evil to anyone. Seek good for all. Rejoice always. Pray always. Give thanks always. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not ignore prophecy. Examine all things and Hold to the good.

The God of peace Himself will sanctify me entirely. (It is not in me-it is His work in me) I will be preserved complete in spirit, soul, and body. God is absolutely faithful, He will do it. I will be without blame at the coming of Christ my Lord and King! Help me God cooperate and not resist your Holy Spirt! Amen.
