GOD HAS CALLED ME NASB

Saved by Faith:

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [a]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Faith in the Name of Jesus Christ:

Acts 3:16

And on the basis of faith in His name, it is [a]the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

Created to do good works:

Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

by His Holy Spirit power:

Acts 1:8

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.

Glory only to God:

Isaiah 42:8

“I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to [a]graven images.

KNOWN

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you.

Psalm 139:16

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans that I [a]have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

WORSHIP

John 4:24

God is [a]spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth

Philippians 3:3

for we are the true [a]circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh

SERVE

Joshua 24:14–15

“Now, therefore, [a]fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and [b]truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the [c]River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Luke 1:74–75

To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.

FRIENDS

John 15:15–16

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

James 2:23

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God.

HOLINESS

2 Corinthians 7:1

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

1 Peter 1:15–16

but [a]like the Holy One who called you, [b]be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Ephesians 4:22-24

that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old [a]self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new [b]self, which [c]in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

LOVE

Matthew 22:37–40

And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and [a]foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Psalm 91:14–16

“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. 15 “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in [a]trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. 16 “With [b]a long life I will satisfy him And [c]let him see My salvation.”

2 Corinthians 5:14–15

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

John 14:15

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

WORKS

John 6:29

Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

1 Thessalonians 4:11

and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you

1 Peter 3:4–5

but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this way in former times the holy women also, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands.

Ephesians 5:22–24

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.

Ephesians 5:33

Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she [a]respects her husband.

CONTENT

Philippians 2:14

Do all things without grumbling or disputing

Philippians 4:11

Not that I speak [a]from want, for I have learned to be [b]content in whatever circumstances I am.

I Timothy 6:6

But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment;

ENJOY

Ecclesiastes 2:24–25

There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and [a]tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without [b]Him

Ecclesiastes 5:18–20

Here is what I have seen to be good and [a]fitting: to eat, to drink and [b]enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he toils under the sun during the few [c]years of his life which God has given him; for this is his [d]reward. 19 Furthermore, as for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and to receive his [e]reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not often [f]consider the [g]years of his life, because God keeps [h]him occupied with the gladness of his heart.

I Timothy 6:17

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
