Are you afraid of God because of your sin? DONT BE!
Adam n Eve - disobedient, distrust
Cain - envy, wrath, murderer
Abraham - Disobedient, Coward (brought lot, lied about wife 2)
Isaac - coward (lied about wife)
Jacob - liar, impersonator
Noah - drunk
Moses - murderer
Saul - coward, prideful, manipulator
King David - rapist, murderer, bad father
Apostles - prideful, wanted best seats
Judas - thief, betrayer
Peter - denier
These are the sinners but chosen.
God chooses sinners. (All men have sin - some GRIEVOUSLY)
The requirement is to accept his love and grace in repentance and in self forgetfulness, follow him.
Three did not choose to do it his way. (Cain, Saul, & Judas)
Sin did not keep people from God. Unrepentant and unwilling to follow-this is what kept them from God.
