Live 4 The LORD

If you are trying to know God

He directs you to Jesus

No one comes to the Father except through Jesus

If God is your Father you will love Jesus

God sent Jesus

John 8:42

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from God and am here; for I have not even come on My own, but He sent Me.

Jesus tells the TRUTH

Since He speaks Truth

Why are you unbelieving?

John 8:45-46

But because I say the truth, you do not believe Me. Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?

The Jews judged incorrectly

The punishment for acknowledging Jesus as God was excommunication from the church.

Sometimes the leaders of the church now also judge incorrectly and try to keep people from Jesus

Come to Jesus anyway!

John 9:22

His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had already reached the decision that if anyone confessed Him to be Christ, he was to be excommunicated from the synagogue.

Jesus came to tell us about the judgement

Of you are humble and admit you do not see clearly and need help, He will heal your eyes.

If you are proud and think you are not needing help, he will leave you in your darkness.

Humility heals Pride kills

John 9:39-41

And Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” Those who were with Him from the Pharisees heard these things and said to Him, “We are not blind too, are we?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now that you maintain, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.
