9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, (Philippians 3:9–10, NKJV)
To be found in Him means I need to purposely put myself in Him. I am to not walk here in myself but to hide in submission to Christ and let Him walk out my life. I am seen as righteous when in Him, if I move out of Him I am no longer under the flow of Grace. I place myself in him by Faith. If I am in Him, I will have resurrection power to do what He calls me to do, I will have sufferings and the fellowship with Him knowing that all evil that happens to me is because they hate Christ, in that, we have intimate fellowship knowing we are united in solidarity, I will be constantly be dying to my self life here for the awesome things to come beyond comprehension.
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, (Philippians 3:13, NKJV)
I have not arrived and received the full gift. I must let go of the past, every second, and keep looking to the future. Forget if possible all that has happened and keep my eyes on what’s to come.
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. (Philippians 3:18–19, NKJV)
Many people are enemies of Christ who are constantly looking this world for their comfort. They have set their mind on earthly things and they are going to destruction. They do shameful things and glory in it.
Beware of looking to have comfort here on earth and look to pacify your flesh! It will lead you into idolatry! Keep putting yourself in Christ and be willing to suffer for righteousness sake!
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4, NKJV)
Rejoice always, knowing you are in Jesus Christ walking home to Heaven! Keep putting yourself in Him!
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6–7, NKJV)
Do not be anxious! This is a command. Pray pray pray! Ask God to meet your needs, give thanks to Him because He sees you in Jesus and will meet them. You can have peace knowing and understanding He loves you. Thus peace will guard your heart and mind, you are in Christ Jesus.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13, NKJV)
I have resurrection power to do all things God calls me to do. Jesus strengthens me, if I submit to him and not look to others!
Father, thank you for loving me and giving me your word for my instruction. Jesus, thank you for living the perfect life so I can hide myself in you and be seen as righteous. Holy Spirit, thank you for opening my eyes and giving me power to submit to Grace and live by your power all the way home. Holy Trinity, help me stop looking around at this world. Help me keep my eyes focused on completing the call here to walk all the way home. You are preparing for me things I cannot fathom. Please Holy God, help me! I am so weak, but in you I am strong! Amen.
