3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3–6, NKJV)
REFLECT
We walk in flesh but do not fight in flesh. We cast down arguments that exalt against God. We take thoughts captive to Christ to break the lies of the devil off us. Then we obey! This is how we fight. Truth and Obedience. If someone disobeys they are punished (actions have consequences), in hope of reforming.
PRAY
Holy Trinity, open my eyes, open my heart, help me stop getting angry. Anger darkens my mind. Help me fight with Truth and Obedience to YOU. You want me to cling to you and your ways so the darkness does not affect me. The more I use worldly anger the more I become cut off from the light. Truth is I am a sinner too in need of grace, forgive and let you judge, only you see all the facets of behavior. Help me in obedience, to let go and stay close to you. I want nothing to take me away from being with you. Amen.
