20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. (1 John 2:20, LSB)
27 And as for you, the anointing whom you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as He has taught you, abide in Him. (1 John 2:27, LSB)
I have been anointed by the Holy Spirit at confirmation. I was baptized and confirmed and confession. The Holy Spirit lives in me. I have to be quiet and listen to him. He teaches me with the word of God, the church, and inspirations. He is teaching me to stay close by listening and obeying (walking with him-abiding). He is pure truth. He does not lie. I can trust God!
Holy Spirit, it is hard for me to hear you! I am full of myself. Oh God please help me empty my self of me and be filled with you. I need your power to do your will I do not want to be lost. Help me. Amen!!
