Mark 4:1– 20
Grace is given to understand but it does not override free will. All men can accept or reject the grace of understanding and ability to repent.
The sower sows seed (the Word of God) everywhere. He is not trying to hide the seeds.
The heart is where the seeds are sown in everyone.
Everyone’s heart is their type of ground (path, rocky, thorny, & good soil)
The reception of the seeds depends on each persons own heart.
Path heart: Satan takes away the word in the heart
Rocky heart: no root from the word, endure only until trial then fall away
Among thorns heart: hear the word but cares of the world, riches, and desires for things choke it out.
Good soil hearts: accept word and bears fruit
