49 John answered, “Master, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.” 50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him; for he that is not against you is for you.” (Luke 9:49–50, RSV2CE)
REFLECTION
The fighting amongst Christians is reprehensible. It is diametrically opposed to You Jesus. God help us all! Help me love all people but especially those that believe in you Jesus even if they are not “following with us”. Jesus you love all men! How sad we get in your way and call ourselves your own body. I’m humiliated and ashamed. I repent!
RESOLUTION
I pray for the grace to love all men and especially those who love you even if they disagree with Your Church. You can overcome all barriers. I am to facilitate union not divide.
REST
I’m so sorry my God. Please forgive my sin and pride. I will rest in your love praying for us all to come together. Amen.
