Who Am I

Who Am I

You knew me before the foundation of the earth

You knit me in my mothers womb

You breathed the breath of life in me

You planned all my days before one came into being

You chose me before the foundation to be Yours Holy in Christ

You planned to adopt me and give me Spiritual Life

I was engraved on your palms at Calvary

You hold all my tears (from birth on)

You watch me as the apple of your eye

You carry me as your lamb

You guide me as a shepherd

You want me to be blameless at your coming (death or end of this world)

You put me in Christ ( I am righteous, holy, justified, and safe from wrath)

You know everything about me (thought word and deed) and still you love me and want to cut out the cancer-not harm me)

You know I am weak and tendency to run from you and sin instead of allow you to be my everything  and meet those deeper needs that cause me to want sin (it’s a process) You still never leave me and call me back

You love me so much you stay here in the Eucharist so I can eat your glorified body (nourished like a baby in the womb of the mother-her body feeding the baby), be transformed from within, see you in faith right before me, renew the blood covenant we have, and be touched by you physically every week.

The Eucharist

Eating His Glorified Body and Drinking His Blood (The Real Presence)

John 6:53-56 — "Jesus said to them, 'Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.'"

1 Corinthians 10:16 — "Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?"

Institution at the Last Supper (Renewing the Blood Covenant)

Matthew 26:26-28 — "While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'"

Luke 22:19-20 — "And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.' In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.'"

Transformation from Within and Communion with Him

John 6:57 — "Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me."

Revelation 3:20 — "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."

 Physical Proximity and Remembrance

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 — "For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread... 'Do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.' For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
