Jesus answered, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.” (Luke 9:41, RSV2CE)
REFLECTION
Jesus coming to earth now commands all people to know who God is. He is the Alpha and Omega who wants all men to come to the knowledge of His Sovereign love. He wants all men to know they were created by him and for him. He wants all men to know he wants an intimate union with them and they need to forsake their old ways of thinking and embrace God’s ways so they can walk together in the right direction. Faith is to entrust yourself to your loving creator who made you for good. Following the flesh world and devil drives you toward evil not good. He came to save you from destruction. Turn back and entrust yourself entire self to him who is all good.
RESOLUTION
I have such a hard time believing in this amazing love. I have such a hard time seeing it because of all the evil inside me and outside. My belief is what keeps me from your love. I MUST take you at your word not what I see think or feel. My soul must be directed by your word and your truth that does not lie, not my interpretation of my human senses or nature-those have been broken by sin.
Jesus I trust in you. You came to save. You want to walk me through this valley to the perfect homeland. Please give me grace and faith and love!
REST
Thank you Jesus for coming to save me from myself. Open my eyes to see all the places that need healing and help me not be afraid to bring them to you for cleansing. You did not come to condemn! I love you. I trust in you.
