12 Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—13 each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. REFLECT
I have Jesus as my foundation. But what I build on this foundation will be unveiled on the Day. The fire will reveal my deeds to see if they were for God or not. If yes, I will have reward, if not, I will suffer loss, but I myself will be saved but through the fire! God will burn up all that is not of Him.
PRAY
God, help me live my life for you. Help me build on you, deeds that please you and that you made me to do. You have prepared deeds for me to do before the foundation of the world that I would walk in them. I want to fulfill your purpose for me. Thank you for guiding me and helping me fulfill your purpose for me, I cannot do anything apart from you, strengthen me. Amen.
