16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If any one destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and that temple you are. (1 Corinthians 3:16–17, RSV2CE)
and you are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s. (1 Corinthians 3:23, RSV2CE)
REFLECT
I have been made the temple of God. The Holy Spirit dwells in me (the Trinity does since they are One). If I live and destroy His Holy Temple God will destroy me! He will come after all that is unholy because it destroys. I am His Temple and therefore all sin, He is coming after to cleanse it! I belong to Christ, Christ belongs to God, I am forever His.
PRAY
God, help me cleanse and keep my temple clean. I want you to be comfortable in me, your tabernacle. Help me not walk in unbelief and destroy my temple where you dwell, you will cleanse me with whips and discipline is very unpleasant! I will be forever yours, thank you for never letting me go and doing what it takes to keep me. I need you love mercy and grace, save me from me!!
