“No one goes to heaven without suffering. And as a child of Mary, you may never put down the cross you bear.”115 Suffering for the sake of suffering will not save us from Hell. But suffering united with Jesus and Mary for the sake of our souls and for the salvation of others can keep us on the narrow road to Heaven.
