Live 4 The LORD

Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up;

Fighting all day he oppresses me. (Psalm 56:1, NKJV)

3 Whenever I am afraid,

I will trust in You.

4 In God (I will praise His word),

In God I have put my trust;

I will not fear.

What can flesh do to me? (Psalm 56:3–4, NKJV)

You number my wanderings;

Put my tears into Your bottle;

Are they not in Your book? (Psalm 56:8, NKJV)

9 When I cry out to You,

Then my enemies will turn back;

This I know, because God is for me.

10 In God (I will praise His word),

In the Lord (I will praise His word),

11 In God I have put my trust;

I will not be afraid.

What can man do to me? (Psalm 56:9–11, NKJV)

12 Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God;

I will render praises to You,

13 For You have delivered my soul from death.

Have You not kept my feet from falling,

That I may walk before God

In the light of the living? (Psalm 56:12–13, NKJV)

REFLECT/RESOLUTION

God please be merciful to me. Man is selfish and cares nothing for me all they do is fight, oppress, and try to swallow me up. 

When I am afraid I will: Trust You, I will refuse fear, I will praise you my Lord and your Word, and remember that mortal flesh can do nothing to me. You are watching my every step, all my tears are collected in your bottle. I cry out to you because you are for me not against me. You are delivering my soul from death, you keep me from falling that I may walk before you in light. I vow to praise You!

REST

Thank you my God for watching over me and taking care of me. Thank you for seeing my tears and pain. Thank you for mercy! Thank you for not letting man have the final word over me, even if I die I will be resurrected. Thank you for being for me, I TRUST YOU! Thank you for the light so I can see you! Praise to you Almighty God!
