Live 4 The LORD

25 [24] To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in you I trust,

let me not be put to shame;

let not my enemies exult over me.

3 Yes, let none that wait for you be put to shame;

let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous•.

4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord;

teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me,

for you are the God of my salvation;

•for you I wait all the day long.

6 Be mindful of your compassion, O Lord, and of your merciful love,

for they have been from of old.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions;

according to your mercy •remember •me,

for your goodness’ sake, O Lord!

8 Good and upright is the Lord;

therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

9 He leads the humble in what is •right,

and teaches the humble his way.

10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and faithfulness,

for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 For your name’s sake, O Lord,

•pardon •my guilt, for it is great.

12 Who •is the man that fears the Lord?

Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.

13 He himself shall abide in prosperity,

and his children shall possess the land.

14 The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him,

and •he makes known to them his covenant.

15 My eyes are ever toward the Lord,

for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Turn to me, and be gracious to me;

for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 Relieve the troubles of my heart,

and bring me out of my distresses.

18 Consider my affliction and my trouble,

and forgive •all my sins.

19 Consider how many are my foes,

and with what violent hatred they hate me.

20 Oh, guard my life, and deliver me;

let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me,

for I wait for you.

22 Redeem •Israel, O God,

out of all his troubles.

REFLECT

Me:

I am to Lift up my soul

I am to Trust 

I want to know your ways

I want to be taught

I want to know the God of my salvation

I wait for you all the day

I am to admit I am a sinner in need of the way and path

I am to be humble

I am to keep his Covenant and testimonies 

I am to fear the Lord

I am to listen to the way I am to choose

I can have friendship if I fear him

Keep my eyes on Him

I am lonely and afflicted without God

I need to walk in integrity and uprightness 

I wait for God

God:

You don’t let me be put to shame

You don’t let enemies exalt over me

You are full of compassion 

You are merciful love

You don’t remember my sins

You remember me because of your mercy and goodness

You are good

You instruct sinners in your way

You lead the humble in the right path

You teach the humble your way

You are mercy and faithfulness 

You instruct the way to choose

You make your covenant known

You pluck my feet out of enemy nets

You turn to me with graciousness 

You relieve my troubled heart

You deliver me from distress

You see my affliction and trouble

You forgive my sin

You see my foes

You guard me

You deliver me

You do not let me be put to shame

You are my redeemer 

RESOLUTION 

My God, help me be all I am called to do. I want all these things. My God, please be who you are to me. Only you can make it happen. I surrender to you! Amen

I will rest and trust in your gracious merciful love.
