READ
Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” (Mark 10:15, RSV2CE)
REFLECT
The Kingdom of God is something you receive.
It is not earned. It is not to be striven for. It is a gift that needs to be received.
The kingdom needs to be received like a child from their parent.
As children, know their parents are good, know they are the giver of good gifts, know their parents love them and will provide, they are free to ask for what they want.
As a child of God I know He is Good, I know He is the giver of good things, I know He loves me and provides for me, I ask for the kingdom!
I cannot earn the kingdom, I cannot strive to be in it, it is a gift I need to receive.
RESOLUTION
Jesus, You came to bring the Kingdom. You are the Kingdom. You said you want to give me the Kingdom. I, as your child, ask You for You, and Your kingdom. I receive You and Your kingdom. Help me be a loyal servant of Your kingdom.
REST
Thank you my God for loving me and wanting me to have You and Your kingdom. Thank you for making it a gift. Help me surrender to a yes of all that You call me to do in Your kingdom for You. You died for me, I want to live for You! I love you my Savior! Thank you for saving me! Amen.
