15 and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, 16 who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. 17 Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” (Acts 14:15–17, NKJV)

You shower blessings upon us. Yet we do not want to know you. You pursue some. There is enough grace for all to know you but we are not interested because we are so broken. You allowed us to do our own thing yet there were pockets of witnesses and the benevolent grace on all.

We are now preached to turn from uselessness to You who made everything.

The grace is there to understand the words but our response can be either trust or resist. And we respond based on whether we can accept truth or want to hide in denial because we want our pride more than we want true reality.
