28 saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus whom you killed by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.” (Acts 5:28–32, RSV2CE)

Teach in Jesus’ Name
Bring the Blood of Christ on those who are enemies (saves those who accept-condemn those who reject)
I must obey God not Man
God raised Jesus from the dead
God exalted Jesus
God seated Jesus at His right hand
God has made Jesus Leader
God has made Jesus Savior
Jesus gives repentance to Israel
Jesus gives forgiveness of sins
I am a witness to these Truths
The Holy Spirit is witness to these truths
God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him
The Trinity, Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are at work.
This is the Gospel!
PRAY
Help me listen to the truth preached in your name, help me believe it so the blood does not condemn me but save me. Help me God obey you and not the enemy who is constantly trying to divide us Christians. The enemy is making us all fight amongst ourselves so as to be divided and estranged.
I am to Believe: God the Father, raised, exalted, seated Jesus at His right hand as Leader and Savior, granting repentance and forgiveness of sins.
I am to witness to these truths!
Obedience is crucial, in order to get the gift of the Holy Spirit, I must believe God and obey Him so that I will be empowered to live this new life. Only those who obey God, receive the Holy Spirit. The rest may have head knowledge and walk in their own strength, and never really know the intimacy to which God calls to love. This new life in Christ is about a love relationship, if I truly love God I will believe he knows the best for my soul and will obey Him. Love and obedience are inseparable. If I am not willing to obey, I really do not know God yet. Help me God, know, love, and obey you, for only you know the best for me! Amen.
