16 for I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” 17 So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized, 19 and took food and was strengthened. (Acts 9:16–19, RSV2CE)
REFLECT
The church is to give healing (sacraments-Jesus touching us through man), fill people with the Holy Spirit, and Baptize as a child of God.
PRAY
Thank you God for the church. Help me not be afraid of all the Judas’ in the church, you said this would happen. I must stand strong in the faith and stay in the church! That is where you are. Even if Judas stands next to you, I must not leave you. Judas being there does not make you and your teachings wrong. It means I am to accept all for love of you so I will not lose my eternal home with you! Amen!!
