30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “How can I, unless some one guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. (Acts 8:30–31, RSV2CE)
REFLECT
Do you understand the Bible that you read? Not unless someone guides you! In your pride do not be afraid to admit you need help. Also, Be sure you are following the true church, many demons are in separated “churches” and think they understand. Even a small distortion can lead down the wrong path. There were false teachers then, how much more so now. The Church is the interpreter and there is only one true church.
PRAY
Jesus, so many people do not believe in your Holy Meal. You came to give your body and blood to get us home. One of the Core doctrines of the faith is not agreed upon because of the Evil one. Help me Holy Trinity stay in your true church and help lead others to the truth.
I BELIEVE YOU JESUS WITH ALL MY HEART!
55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.
