9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. REFLECT
All people are my brother (all man made from Adam). If I hate anyone I am in darkness. We are commanded to love all because God loves all. If He is in me I can, with his spirit, love all. It is a choice to deny myself and submit to Him. If I hate I have been blinded by the liar and now my mind is darkened.
PRAY
Oh my Jesus, please open my eyes. I see I have hate in my heart. Instead of hating people I can hate the sin. The people are being used as pawns in the devil’s schemes. I must choose to overcome with love and then let you fill me with it, it’s not naturally in me. Help!
