Participatory not Substitutionary
God wants a Participatory offering in Divine Life and the Cross.
It is not a substitutionary offering for me but a union.
It is not forensic, it is transformative.
He wants me to be like him.
Offering my life up back to God like He offered His life to me, out of love.
Life restored to sacrifice it up.
My share in Calvary.
My offering does not contribute to what Christ did, it is a union and participation with Him. (Filling up what is lacking is my participation in it)
I do not go free because He paid for my sin so I live with abandon. I live a life of love of Him and neighbor, doing His will, and suffering for righteousness like He did. Killing my flesh, learning to live in freedom of sin, for love of Him, and what He did for me, opening up heaven, and washing my sin away.
