7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; (Acts 1:7–8, RSV2CE)


REFLECT

I do not get to understand the plans of God. The Father has a plan and it will be accomplished. Everything is under his authority. I can receive power, the Holy Spirit to live. Or I can reject. Either way I do not control. If I’m trying to figure or control I am anxious and not powerful. I must trust and accept the Holy Spirit. 


PRAY

Jesus Christ I am so weak. My fears choke me all day. Set me free. Come Holy Spirit! I believe in your goodness and care-help my unbelief!!
