Live 4 The LORD

41 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the child leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42  and she exclaimed with a loud cry•, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  (Luke 1:41–43, RSV2CE)

REFLECT

Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit when John the Baptist in the womb heard the greeting of Mary (he was already filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb-definitely a person in the womb)

Being filled with the Spirit Elizabeth exclaims  the Spirit-Scripture Mary is Blessed, Mary has fruit in her womb, Mary is the Mother of the Lord.   

The Holy Spirit (God) is the one who says:

Mary is Blessed among women 

Mary is the Mother of the Lord

If people don’t believe-they reject the Holy Spirit-GOD and His WORD

Mary is the Mother of God per God! And since I am in Christ she is my mother also. Giving love to your mother does not take away glory from the Almighty. It actually enhances Glory to God since he says to honor your mother. 

RESOLUTION 

Jesus gave me his mother at the cross to be my mother. Mary is the Mother of Jesus. I am in Jesus so she is my mother too. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners! Thank you for being my mother. Help me! Intercede for me. I have no wine, I want to do what he tells me. 

REST

Thank you Jesus for loving me so much you gave me the perfect mother. Holy Mother, help me know you. Thank you for being a mother to me. Amen.
