2 Peter 1
I have obtained a faith by the righteousness of God and Jesus Christ
Grace and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and Jesus, my Lord
His divine power granted me all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called me to his own glory and excellence
Through the promises, I become a partaker of the divine nature, escaping the corruption in the world caused by sinful desire
I must Supplement my faith with virtue, knowledge, self control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly, affection, and love. These will keep me fruitful and effective in the knowledge of my Lord Jesus
Confirm my calling and election by practicing these qualities and I will never fall
I will obtain entrance to the eternal kingdom of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
I must remember these qualities and to keep myself established in the truth that I have
Do not follow clever myths, but the power coming from my Lord Jesus Christ, who received honor and glory from God, the Father.
Scripture does not come from someone’s own interpretation. It was produced by God, written by the church, carried by the Holy Spirit. (The church holds the truth-not man: Scripture is interpreted by the church-if I deny the church I am denying God.)
Many false interpretations abound. Stay grounded in the church.
