Am I careful to avoid people, places, and things that I know are occasions of sin for me? Do I maintain worthless or immoral friendships with those who are dragging me down into the darkness? Do I take God’s warning seriously regarding what will become of those who stubbornly rebel against the truth?

Lord, you know that I am a sinner in grievous need of your mercy and grace. I must not judge anyone’s heart, though I must judge whether people’s outward actions are safe or spiritually injurious to me. Guard me from the danger of bad friendships.
