Count it joy when you have a trial
The trial tests your faith
Your faith must be steadfast
If you lack wisdom, ask God
Do not doubt, doubt makes you unstable
Remain steadfast under trial
Receive the crown of life promised to those who love God
Temptation is enticed by YOUR OWN desire
Anger does not produce righteousness!
Receive the word with meekness
The implanted word saves your soul
Doing the word, not just hearing the word
Pure religion is to visit orphans and widows in affliction and keep oneself unstained from the world.
God chose people
to be rich in faith and
heirs of the kingdom
for those who love him
Judgment will be without mercy to those who show no mercy
mercy triumph over judgment
Faith without works is dead
Show Faith by your works
Faith is completed by works
Justified by faith and works together
As the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead
Even the demons believe in God
The tongue set the whole course of life on fire by hell
The tongue is a restless evil full of deadly poison
We curse people made in the image of God
We must learn to tame the tongue by submission to the spirit
Do not boast or be false to the truth this behavior is demonic
Jealousy and self and ambition is a disorder and vile
What causes squirrels and fights?
Your passions and desires
You don’t have because you do not ask, and if you do ask, you do not receive because you wrongly want to spend it on your harmful passions and desires instead of righteousness
God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble
Humble yourselves before the Lord
Submit to God
Resist the devil
Drawer to God and he will draw to you
Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts, be single minded
Do not speak evil or judge, your brother you are not to be a judge, but a doer of the law
God is the law giver and judge
Wisdom from God is pure, peaceful, gentle, open to reason full of mercy, good fruit, impartial, sincere, and harvest righteousness, and is sown in peace by those who make peace
You don’t know what’s going to happen today or tomorrow you are a mist that is here today and vanishes tomorrow
You are to live by the Lord‘s will
If you know the right thing to do and don’t do it, that is sin
Do not live on luxury in self indulgence fattening your hearts condemning the righteous
Be patient establish your heart.
The Lord is coming
do not grumble and complain against one another so that you may not be judged.
The judge is at the door
Endure suffering with patience
Remain steadfast
The Lord is compassionate and merciful he will deliver and reward
Suffering– pray
Cheerful – sing praise
Sick – anointed with oil
Sin - confess and be saved
Be healed
The prayer of the righteous has great power
Bring back sinners from wandering and save their souls from death covering a multitude of sins
