The Church exists to:
Proclaim Gods Work
Sacraments
Good works
We were made for LOVE
LOVE with God
You were made for God
Prayer is a Love Relationship with God
Way to live life
It’s not a technique
Carefree timelessness
It’s more real than any relationship you have
It is raising your heart and mind to God
God changes me, I don’t change him or others
Types of prayer:
Vocal
Words
Meditation
Talk to God in heart about something you read
Chew it and glean and apply
Contemplation
Awareness of being with Him In His Presence (feel him)
It is a complete Gift-nothing I can do to get it.
It is not a list of wants
It is Not transactional exchange
It is Not a recitation of words
You are growing or dying, never standing still
NEVER QUIT!
