I Peter 4-5
Christ suffered in the flesh
Arm yourselves with the same thinking
If your flesh suffers because you fight your passions you have ceased from sin
Do not be surprised at fiery trials
Rejoice that you share in Christ’s suffering
Nothing strange is happening to you
Rejoice and be glad when the glory is revealed
When you suffer for being a Christian, don’t be ashamed, but glorify God in the name
Entrust yourself to your faithful creator while doing good this suffering is according to God‘s will
Live for the will of God
Everyone will give an account to the judge
The gospel is preached to everyone, even those who are dead
It gives everyone a chance who will be judged to stop living in the flesh and live in the spirit with God
People will malign you because they don’t understand that you don’t want to live the way they do
Serve with the Grace God has given you
Served by the strength that God applies
Glorify God through Jesus Christ
Clothe yourselves with humility
Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God
God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble
Cast all your anxieties on him
God cares for you
Resist the devil firm in your faith
After you have suffered a little while, the god of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore confirm strengthen and establish you
Stand firm in the grace of God
Peace to all of you who are in Christ
