One of the biggest Calvinist Theologians has fallen from grace.
This should serve as a wake up call.
God allows us to have free will.
He lets us choose. Calvinism is a distortion.
It’s a relationship and we have to keep choosing to keep him first. He does not force anyone to love him.
I pray for this man’s soul. The devil is crafty and wants to destroy the church from within. It is not a surprise he goes for leaders.
I pray for this man’s followers. Jesus, please remind everyone that only you are perfect. That only you are worthy of absolute allegiance.
Remind them that knowledge about you is not the same as intimacy with you. We can be deceived by our desires. Help us keep our desires smashed by your grace!
Remind them King David grievously sinned and you saved him. There can be repentance after mortal sin. Even though there were extremely severe consequences, King David was saved.
Jesus, please help all people and especially leaders to remember to keep their love alive for You! To follow YOU.
God help us see in Humility of how weak we really are, and how much we need grace for every moment, help us!
