The Elect
Final perseverance grace can be obtained through prayer not merited.
God is indeed sovereignly orchestrating grace to the chosen and enabling them to respond. Therefore, the immutability of God's election stems from His divine and unchangeable will to bestow grace gratuitously upon those He has chosen, enabling them to respond freely and persevere in faith. It is not that God chooses the elect because they will respond, but rather He chooses them so that they may respond through the grace He provides.
It is a gift from God, not a consequence of human achievement. This election is a gratuitous gift, not based on any prior merit. This means that God's decision to save certain individuals is not a reward for their good deeds or foreseen merits, but rather a free and unmerited act of His divine will. The grace provided by God enables and strengthens free cooperation, ensuring that those He has chosen will ultimately respond and remain faithful.
God's choice is immutable (unable to be changed). God freely chooses a specific world and a specific series of graces, thereby determining the future history and final destiny of each soul. This choice is immutable because it is rooted in God's infallible knowledge and His sovereign will.
God's grace always precedes and prepares the human will. It is a divine initiative that moves the heart and enables a person to turn towards God. This grace is not coercive; it does not force the will but rather empowers it. The grace God provides to the elect is efficacious, meaning it infallibly achieves its intended effect without violating human freedom. It enables and strengthens their free cooperation, ensuring that they will ultimately respond to God's call and persevere in faith. This grace is also gratuitous and cannot be merited, though it can be obtained through prayer.

Before salvation
from childhood through life there is common grace
Grace is there to not sin and choose right (in conscience, & in society)
If choose right it’s easier to keep choosing Grace given to do right.
If choose wrong it darkens the heart and mind and enslaves to sin.
God wants all men to be saved and choose life.
Salvation
Some keep choosing right leading to hearing the call to salvation. Then choose to completely give their life to Christ, Or choose to walk the fence and be lost.
Some who are dark in sin, have a strong conversion like a light from God which leads to complete turn around and completely give their life to Christ, Or reject and be lost.
All are given chances to choose grace. God has not ordained sin. Common grace is there to choose right. We are responsible for our responses. We choose heaven or hell based on our responses. God owes no one salvation.
