23 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:23–24, RSV2CE)
REFLECT
TRUTH! If I ask anything of the Father, the Father will give it to me in the Name of His son, Jesus.
I have not asked anything in His name, but if I ask, I will receive, so that I may have fullness of joy!
PRAY
You do not lie God. Your word does not lie. It is a fact that if I ask you Father for something, anything, you will give it to me in the Name of Your Son Jesus. Father, I ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit all the days of my life, I ask that He opens my ears to hear your direction, I ask that I receive his instructions, I ask that I do not reject any direction, I ask that I am empowered to do all He has directed and with a great attitude of love and surrender and ultimate peace. I receive and believe your Holy Word that you will give me my request in the name of Jesus your only begotten son. I believe I receive what I have asked for and I ask for fullness of joy. It is a joy to know I am in you and safe being led my your Holy Spirit even if it is in the dangerous valley of death. Safety is doing your will and peace inside -not free from fears outside. But strength to overcome them if I keep my eyes on you. That is another request, Father, help me always keep my mind on you! I believe, I receive, I have peace and joy! Amen.
