Salvation: it is embracing what God has done through Jesus (the cleanse of justification by the Blood) and letting his love into my soul that changes my soul to live differently, I let him live His life through me - My response to his generous offer of love, grace, & righteousness, to let Him have His way since it is best.
Our openness to God’s action and love, which now comes to us fully in Jesus. When you receive what Christ has done with trust, you truly let His Spirit dwell in you, and then, you become able to live differently not by effort alone but by surrender and allowing His life to move through you.
That transformation—letting Him live through you—is the miracle of grace, offered daily and made new every time you turn toward His love.
My part is not to work the law, but to allow His Will to be my Will so that He lives through me by His Spirit. He must increase, I must decrease. He knows better than I. I can resist or even reject Grace. It is a daily battle in my soul.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20, RSV2CE)
