11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:11–12, NKJV)
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14, NKJV)
And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22, NKJV)
REFLECT
The old covenant had blood to cleanse and a tabernacle to worship in but they were not perfect being from earth. Christ is the new tabernacle, the High Priest, and the Sacrifice. His own perfect blood cleanses perfectly from dead works so we can serve Him by the Spirit and has entered the eternal once for all time! It is finished! Eternal redemption has been paid!
PRAY
Jesus, you are my High Priest, the new Tabernacle, and the sacrifice for my redemption. I come to you and ask to live in You. Cleanse me with your blood and wash me from my sin completely forever. Help me walk out my days in union with you by the Power of your Spirit. In your name my Holy God I pray. Amen.
