READ
For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; (Hebrews 9:24, NKJV)
but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (Hebrews 9:26, NKJV)
so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (Hebrews 9:28, NKJV)
REFLECT
Christ has entered Heaven’s Holy Place not the one on earth. Sin is done away with by his own sacrifice once and for those who are His. I must be found in Him. I must eagerly wait for His second coming to bring me to eternal salvation. The first coming was to pay for sin of those who are His, the second is to bring salvation.
PRAY
Jesus, thank you for paying my sin debt. Thank you for the blood that washes me so I can be in you. Help me walk out my life in union with you until you come back to bring me home to Heaven with you forever eternally secure. In your name I pray for this grace. Amen.
