READ
Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Hebrews 4:1–2, NKJV)
Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, (Hebrews 4:6, NKJV)
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4:11, NKJV)
REFLECT
I can be at rest. It is a promise of God. The way to be at rest is to BELIEVE Him. If I believe Him I will obey since he is good and only wants good for me. I can trust His ways lead to life. I am to choose to be diligent. Believe his commands lead to life and obey them in rest of soul.
PRAY
Father, I have been going through some time of anxiety and uncertainty. I Believe, Help my unbelief! Renew my heart and soul and help me be diligent in entering the rest of your love and care. Amen.
