but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. (Hebrews 3:6, NKJV)
REFLECT
Jesus is The Son and is over His own House. I am in Him so I am in His house. I must hold fast in confidence rejoicing in hope firm to the end. NEVER GIVE UP!

12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:12–15, NKJV)
REFLECT
Evil comes from unbelief. Unbelief causes me to grab at what I want in fear or from self rationalization instead of letting Him give me what is best. When I rationalize I can error and then I sin. Sin is so deceitful it starts to continue to lead down the wrong path. I must forsake my self and keep close to God in Belief! Believe that I am in Christ and steadfastly and confidently continue holding on all the way to the end obeying.

17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
4 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Hebrews 3:17–4:2, NKJV)
Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, (Hebrews 4:6, NKJV)
REFLECT
God is angry with His people who sin and do not obey Him in Trust and Belief. You will find rest for your souls if you Believe Trust and Obey what He wants for you. If you do not believe you will not trust and then you will sin. It all stems from unbelieving God knows best and wants you to walk in Christ. If you do not believe you will sin and become farther away because sin leads to more sin.
PRAY
God, I am in sin. I am having a heart of unbelief. Please God, save me. Open my heart soul mind and body to want to walk in You, in Belief, Trust, and Obedience. I know you know best in my head but my heart is full of fear. Please take away this fear. Help me abandon myself into your care. You are all powerful and all knowing, there is no one safer. My puny mind is killing me. Holy Spirit please cleanse me, Jesus wash my sins away in your blood, Father please love me and help me know You and believe you! You are my only hope. Holy Mother, I need a mother, bring me to your Father, Son, and Spouse and help me imitate your trust. Amen.
