Psalm 89:14
Righteousness and justice
are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before You.
{Thank goodness for Mercy to come before justice. Truth goes before so we can be made righteous.
Then in righteous and justice are the foundations. Help me come to your throne through your mercy Lord so I can be made righteous so that justice will mean salvation! Amen}
Psalm 89:26
He will call to Me, ‘You are my Father,
My God, and the rock of my salvation.’
{Father, please be a father to me. All powerful God be my rock! All merciful God be my salvation! Amen}
Psalm 89:30-35
“If his sons abandon My Law
And do not walk in My judgments,
If they violate My statutes
And do not keep My commandments,
Then I will punish their wrongdoing with the rod,
And their guilt with afflictions.
But I will not withhold My favor from him,
Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.
I will not violate My covenant,
Nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.
Once I have sworn by My holiness;
I will not lie to David.
{If I go astray and violate commands I see that I will be punished. This is for correction. You want me to come back to the path. You punish our wrongdoing and guilt for saving! You will not withhold favor which means the punishment might be heavy to get my attention so I will not be lost. You will not take away your favor, you never deal falsely. You do not violate covenant! You have sworn by your own perfect holiness! SAVE ME MY GOD!}
Mark 13:13
And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.
{A true Christian preaches against the world’s ways. God wants a new creation of people not a covering over sinful people. He changes hearts! Because of this, you will be hated. People do not want to give up sin. ONLY THOSE WHO ENDURE TO THE END WILL BE SAVED!! Do Not Ever Let Go of Jesus!!
Lord, I am weak, I need you to hold on to me! Holy Spirit empower me to tell truth and endure. Amen}
Mark 13:33-37
“Watch out, stay alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is. It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay alert. Therefore, stay alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— so that he does not come suddenly and find you asleep. What I say to you I say to all: ‘Stay alert!’”
{Stay Alert
Jesus left his church in our hands
He went on a journey home to prepare new places for us.
He left us disciples in charge of the house of God (our brothers and sisters)
He assigned each one of us a task (mission)
He commanded to stay alert.
He will be coming back.
Make sure he does not find you asleep.
Stay Alert ready to be taken home!}
