Romans 2:4
Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and restraint and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
Riches of kindness: he has created you, loved you, chose you into existence, has kept you alive every minute, has left you free to choose your way.
His restraint: he has not annihilated you, he has not given you what you deserve, he has not punished you severely.
His patience: he calls you, he waits for you, he continually shows you mercy by restraint and kindness.
Leads to repentance: Knowing he has created you, loved you, chose you, kept you, showed mercy and restraint when he could have punished, and still calls you leads you to repentance and acceptance of this amazing God!
