Matthew 24:12-13
And because lawlessness is multiplied, most people’s love will grow cold.
But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
{We are sickened by sin and don’t want people to repent? So we don’t preach the gospel because we want them to be punished (the older brother)? We are angry at their lawlessness and want their condemnation?
We forget we are them, except for the Grace and Gospel of God. So if we remember we are them too, and preach the gospel in love-we will be saved.}
Matthew 24:44-46
For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
“Who then is the faithful and prudent slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
{Christ can come to take you home at any moment! You could breathe your last breath at any time. You do not know the hour and you do not think he’s coming that soon.
You must think this way all day every day and be faithful and prudent in all your ways. Plan like you will live to serve forever but live like you could die at any moment. Blessed will you be doing the will of God all day every moment. When you do breathe your last, you will not be unprepared. Live In His Presence!}
