Responding to incredulity about the Real Presence, Saint Ambrose notes that
even the conception and birth of Christ was miraculous.
Why should we limit the miraculous to Christ’s beginnings, or even his healings and other miracles?
Like his incarnation, changing bread and wine into his Body and Blood is all part of his plan for our sanctification.
