Jesus called me to follow him
He calls us to leave behind our old life, not to bring it with us
He wants me to trust him enough to leave behind the things that hold me captive in seeking security
He’s calling me to leave behind my old life
The biggest torment of my soul is the need to understand
He wants me to say yes let it be done unto me in darkness and mystery not certainty, Mary did not get the whole plan.
He wants a deep surrender where peace comes not from answers, but from belonging to him, my hands open and my mind at rest
Let him love me even when I do not understand
I don’t have to understand I just have to trust I can release the burden of needing explanations. I can rest in the mystery of God orchestrating things.
Like Mary. I can just say yes not having to understand how.
Trust his presence, his wisdom, and his timing. Grant me peace that surpasses understanding. This is a journey.
Trust deeply, walk humbly, surrender out of love.
